14 tools available to help get rid of stains without using chemicals

Advertised stain removers cost decent money. But the effect, unfortunately, rarely matches the price. Therefore, cunning housewives prefer to use cheap means at hand, which help to get rid of stains without harmful chemistry.
Soda
Fans of indoor flowers constantly have to fight with red footprints on a white plastic window sill. They appear from the water that flows from the pots during irrigation. To get rid of them, you need to slightly moisten problem areas, for example, walk with a well-wrung rag and generously fill them with soda. Rub the stains thoroughly - after a couple of minutes the windowsill will become snow-white again.
Vinegar
Stains from strawberries, raspberries, currants and other berries, which are practically not subject to expensive detergents, are easily removed with ordinary table vinegar. It is necessary to soak a cotton pad well with it and attach to a dirty place for a couple of minutes. Then rinse the item in cold water. Continue processing until the stain has completely disappeared.
Lemon acid
If yellow traces of sweat appear on the white clothes under the sleeves, they should be rubbed with a thick slurry of water and citric acid. After a couple of minutes, wash the item and enjoy its updated look.
If you planted a rusty stain somewhere, you can remove it by rubbing it with a sponge dipped in lemon juice. A concentrated citric acid solution is also suitable.
Laundry soap
If you dripped oil onto your clothes (or other culinary or technical grease), you need to quickly rub the stain with laundry soap. Only not white and fragrant, but ordinary brown with a high alkali content. Set aside the item for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse. If the fat is not completely washed out of the fibers, repeat the treatment a few more times.
Alcohol
On bright collars, traces of foundation, blush, lipstick and other decorative cosmetics often remain. To remove them, you need to put the thing on a paper towel stain down. On the reverse side, you need to thoroughly rub the weave with a cotton pad soaked in pharmacy alcohol (you can vodka). Alcohol will dissolve and “push” the pigment out of the fibers, and it will transfer to a towel.
Sunflower oil
Traces of glue, stickers, adhesive, adhesive tape from different surfaces can be easily removed with sunflower oil. You need to put a little money on the stained place and leave it for 3-5 minutes. Then you will need to rub the surface with a rag or cotton sponge - the glue will go away.
Hydrogen peroxide
Fruits, chocolate, drinks - any non-oil stains can be removed with hydrogen peroxide. It is necessary to moisten the cotton pad in the tool and attach to the soiled place for an hour and a half. If the stain has not completely disappeared, you need to update the “compress” and leave it for the same amount. When the pollution has completely disappeared, it remains to rinse the thing in warm water.
Keep in mind that peroxide bleaches tissues. Therefore, this method is applicable only to white things.
Dishwashing liquid
If after working in the country or outdoors, there are traces of earth left on things, they need to be treated with a special solution - water, dishwashing detergent and vinegar (2: 1: 1). The composition must be gently rubbed into the stain and leave for half an hour. It remains only to rinse the thing in warm water.
Ammonia
Grass, coffee, chocolate and other hard-to-remove spots literally dissolve under the influence of ammonia. Add a tablespoon of ammonia to a liter of warm water and soak the soiled things in the solution. After 3-5 minutes, you will need to rub the stain with a sponge or napkin.
Salt
Ordinary salt (ideally extra) perfectly copes with oil traces. It is necessary to fill up the stain and leave for a few minutes. Salt absorbs excess oil, and what remains between the fibers can be easily washed in the usual way.
Starch
If you put iodine on your clothes, quickly wet the stain with cold water and cover it with starch. Rub with your finger until the dirt completely disappears. In the end - a normal wash.
Milk
If you get dirty in tar, to begin with, scrape it to the maximum with a knife. Then soak the thing in hot milk for 1.5–2 hours. After that, it remains to rub the stained place a little and wash the thing with powder.
Valerian
For schoolchildren, shirt cuffs are often stained with ink from a ballpoint pen. Fresh traces can be removed with the help of tincture of valerian. You just need to moisten a cotton swab in the solution and rub the contaminated places. Continue processing until ink is completely gone.
Sugar
It is good not only in drinks, but also used for tea stains. You need to generously fill up the soiled place and leave for an hour and a half. Then you will need to wash the thing - it will again be like new.
