Reasons for boiling a solid fuel boiler
Hello.
We connected the heating to a solid fuel boiler. It boils: it costs 85 on the supply, and 45 on the return. A circulation pump is installed. Please help me figure it out.

Hello, Gregory.
A solid fuel boiler, as well as any other, can boil for only one reason - due to the fact that the working fluid does not have time to cool. Airflow or insufficient coolant speed, as well as errors in the selection of equipment, lead to such a nuisance.
In the first case, water boiling most often occurs due to errors in the calculation and installation of the heating system:
- understated section of pipes;
- the presence of areas with excessively high hydraulic losses;
- slopes of the gravitational heating system are made in violation of the requirements of hydrodynamics.
As for the incorrect selection of units or control valves, here the boiling of the coolant occurs due to the too high power of the boiler or because the characteristics of the circulation pump do not meet the requirements of the system. The latter, by the way, refers to both overstated and understated parameters. So, if the pressure is less than the calculated one, then the normal circulation of the liquid will be difficult due to the fact that the pump will not be able to “push” the coolant along the highways with the proper speed. If you installed a circulation pump with an excessively high capacity, a phenomenon such as cavitation may occur. This process is accompanied by the appearance of many air bubbles, and, as a consequence, the airing of the system.
In order to correct the situation, first of all, it is necessary to remove air from the heating system. It is good if automatic air vents are installed on the radiators, and the expansion tank is installed at the highest point of the heating circuit. Be sure to check whether the circulation pump is installed correctly or whether its installation is countercurrent. After the system is air-conditioned, the problems should go away. If they will appear again, then be sure to analyze whether the calculation and installation were performed correctly and eliminate the discovered defects.
