Soft kitchen corner
5-10 years ago, soft corners in the kitchen were incredibly popular. On the one hand, their advantages are clear - on the couch you can fit a lot of people, but in large families this issue is relevant. And outwardly, the corner creates a feeling of coziness and comfort. But all the advantages end there, but the flaws are more than enough: it takes up too much space, because of it it is difficult to get out with a large number of people, it is difficult to clean, etc. It is better to purchase a kitchen table and chairs, given that now there is a huge selection of models that perfectly fit into any interior.
Bar counter and bar
Remember the bar with a metal bar, which 15 years ago were in every second kitchen? Try to remove a maximum of large household appliances from the kitchen facade, and for small, free a couple of shelves in the cupboard. You will be surprised at how spacious and bright the kitchen will be.
Oversized table
Very often in the kitchen for families of 3-4 people there is a kitchen table for which at least 15 people can sit. This number of guests in the house is going at best a couple of times a year. The rest of the time, the table simply occupies the already small space of a typical panel-style kitchen. Its size must be chosen based on the area of the kitchen. Therefore, for family celebrations it is better to purchase a transformer table, which on ordinary days turns into a small table, and does not occupy half the kitchen.
Lack of hoods
If you remember the first models of hoods, then you will agree that they were ugly boxes with a huge pipe. Many, in order not to spoil the appearance of the kitchen, generally refused to install it. Times have changed, and now hoods look very stylish, they can even become an interesting detail in the interior of the kitchen. In addition to aesthetic reasons, there are also functional ones - the hood eliminates odors during cooking, and above the gas stove it “draws in” combustion products that spoil the appearance of the kitchen facades and the ceiling above the stove.
