Hello Andrei. If there is no marking on the shut-off valves, then to replace the valve it is enough to measure the diameter of the pipe on which it is installed. Since it is customary to measure the cross-section of elements in engineering systems in an inch system, then all dimensions should be translated taking into account the fact that 1 inch is 2.54 cm. So, for Ø15 mm pipes, valves ½ ”are used, which are marked DN15. As for the other sizes, it is convenient to use the correspondence table, which we give below.
