To hang the pump in the well, both a durable synthetic cord and a metal cable are suitable. In the latter case, it is best to use stainless steel products or with a galvanized surface - a simple ferrous metal in a damp environment very quickly rusts and breaks down. Depending on the weight of the pump, a cable with a diameter of 3-4 mm can be used, and a cord of at least 4-5 mm.

In order to fix the pump in the center of the well, use a solid metal cross member or welded frame, which is installed on its head. The cable is attached to the unit with the help of an eye on its body. One end is threaded into the hole, and, having made a loop measuring 8-10 cm, it is fixed with clamps of the simplex or duplex type.
