Hello Oleg!
The situation you described may have several reasons:
- Leaks and microcracks that appeared during operation at the point of attachment of the toilet to the sewer riser. In this case, it is necessary to re-mint the connection between the release of the plumbing fixture and the cast-iron sewer pipe, change the connecting fan pipe, eccentrics or corrugation.
- The formation of the so-called urinary stone in the flush trough or siphon of the toilet.
- Perhaps the installed toilet is made of low-quality earthenware. In this case, the material has an increased porosity and may accumulate unpleasant odors over time.
- Do not throw off the scales and the fact that an unpleasant odor can come not directly from the toilet, but from the floor covering located near it, especially if it is a soft carpet or linoleum.
