Hello, Lyudmila.

If the Grundfos circulation pump is used in your country house to increase the water pressure, then there is no reason to worry. The fact is that such units are characterized by the so-called dead end mode of operation, that is, they do not require shutdown even when the water is not drawn. When such a pump is disconnected from electricity, water freely circulates inside its housing, and when it is turned on, the liquid receives additional acceleration due to the rotation of the impeller.

It is also not worth worrying about the fact that the pump burns out due to prolonged operation. Typically, these units have a design with a "wet" rotor. The absence of oil seals and rolling bearings, as well as good cooling, make them as durable as possible. As for the consumption of electricity, the pressure boosting pumps of this type are low-power and consume half the energy than incandescent lamps.

And one more argument to reassure you. Grundfos products are of good quality and have an increased resource. Of course, the fact that you forgot an electric appliance in the country when it was turned on cannot be called good news. However, one should not particularly worry about this - with a high degree of probability it is possible to guarantee that nothing will happen.
