6 descaling agents in the kettle, which can be found in almost every kitchen

Over time, in any heating device, scale occurs as a result of hard water. You can get rid of deposits quickly and easily with 6 proven home remedies available.

Vinegar

Vinegar, although it refers to aggressive agents, effectively copes with a lot of old scale.

It is necessary to prepare:

  • water - 2 glasses;
  • vinegar 9% - 200 ml.

Procedure:

  1. Fill the dishes with vinegar, boil.
  2. Leave the solution for 1 hour, while periodically you need to lift the lid of the kettle, observing the process of scaling.
  3. If the deposits have not moved away from the walls of the dishes on their own, then you can use a sponge.
  4. After thoroughly rinse with fresh boiling water to get rid of the remains of vinegar.

Lemon acid

The method is effective for mild to moderate pollution.

Sequencing:

  1. After boiling the liquid in an amount of 2 glasses, add citric acid (1-2 tbsp. L.).
  2. Leave for 1-2 hours.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.

Boiling with an acidic solution is an extreme measure. It is best to use a lemon without boiling. Just dilute it in water, fill the kettle and wait a while. This is an ideal way for plastic appliances.

Coca-Cola soda

The method is not suitable for cleaning enameled or tin containers.

Various carbonated drinks are suitable for the procedure:

  • Coca Cola;
  • science fiction;
  • sprite.

Cleaning sequence:

  1. Open the bottle with the drink so that all the gases come out.
  2. Pour 2 cups of liquid into the kettle, boil.
  3. Allow to cool, pour and rinse the dishes.

It is better to use Sprite, as Coca-Cola or Fanta can leave their shade.

Apple peel infusion

It is necessary to wash the peel from apples, put it in a kettle, pour water, boil. Soak in the solution for 1-2 hours, and then remove the softened coating with a sponge.

Potato peelings

Only water and peeling of 3-4 potatoes will be required.

Procedure:

  1. Rinse the potato peel carefully so that there is no sand on it.
  2. Put in a kettle, pour.
  3. Boil, leave for 1-2 hours.
  4. After descaling, rinse the dishes thoroughly.

Cucumber pickle and tomato

The brine contains citric acid, so it is no less effective than other methods. It is necessary to pour the liquid into the contaminated container with a sieve, boil, leave for 2 hours. Use a sponge to remove any residual plaque, rust, and then rinse twice.
