Superstition Week: on which days you can and cannot clean floors

Signs give a lot of advice on how to properly care for your home in order to attract happiness, love and wealth. True, these tips often contradict each other ... Today we look at the issue of floor cleaning from the point of view of superstition and determine which days of the week are suitable for this activity and which ones are supposedly not.
Monday
Monday omens is called the day, extremely unsuitable for any household chores. It is believed that mopping at the beginning of the week will somehow disturb the home, and it will refuse to accept wealth. There is also an opinion that cleaning on Monday will “wash” all your money.
Tuesday
But already on the second day of the week, domestic perfumes, apparently, get tired, and therefore you can take on a rag. Cleaning on this day is considered the most favorable. There is another sign: "On Tuesday, revenge - to find money." Apparently, signs recommend sweeping before washing the floors.
Wednesday
Cleaning on Wednesday is also considered quite favorable, although not as successful as on Tuesday. There is a sign that cleaning on the third day of the week will attract success in business, especially if you are engaged in trade. True, where would a busy businessman find in the middle of the week time for mopping - a question. Apparently, that's why superstition is being clarified - it’s better not to do general cleaning on this day, just wipe the floor.
Thursday
Thursday's mopping allegedly washes money out of the house. Like on Monday, only in a positive way. Therefore, superstitions offer to do such cleaning for families who are stuck in a poor financial situation. Wash the floors - and everything will pass! And the debts themselves will resolve. Only do not forget to open doors and windows at the same time, otherwise the magic will not work. (Ah, if everything were so simple ...)
Friday
Friday is like little Monday for superstitions. It’s also not recommended to tidy up on this day, because you can “wash” all the money from home and get into a debt hole. Are you surprised that you constantly do not have enough money to pay? So everything is simple - you mop the floors on Friday!
Saturday
Saturday, along with Tuesday, is considered a good day for mopping. Superstitions even make it possible to arrange general cleaning.
Sunday
But on Sunday, any cleaning, including mopping, is considered forbidden by the people. Here superstition is rooted in Christian traditions. The church (including the Orthodox Church) suggests that on Sunday parishioners renounce worldly affairs and devote the day to caring for the soul. However, according to the priests themselves, this does not exclude any necessary work - just cleaning on Sunday by Christians should not be a priority over good deeds. So a categorical prohibition, it turns out, is only in superstitions - but not in the Bible.
Countless superstitions about the simplest everyday things will also take. And the people who follow them can easily “explain” any failure by a deviation from these popular truths. However, it is much more rational (and easier) to simply clean the floors as needed.
