The standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene adopted in a civilized society are not a joke. They are stitched in the mind of a person from the first day of his life. And therefore, the planned shutdown of hot water in the summer is not just household discomfort, but something more that greatly complicates life. But there is a way! And not even one. The best practical solutions and original ideas especially for you.

We heat water ourselves

If heating basins, ladles, pots and buckets with water is categorically unacceptable to you (although this method of washing is leading in comparison with the others), there are other solutions to the problem.

Using a water heater

The advantage of purchasing a water heater is obvious - hot water at any time. But there are also disadvantages that differ depending on the type of water heater:

Accumulative water heaters warm well and maintain the desired water temperature, but take up a lot of space and do not fit into the interior in the best way. In a small apartment, it is not always possible to install a boiler with a volume of 50–80 liters.
Instantaneous water heater is easy to install and takes up much less space. But the heating temperature depends on the pressure of the water: the higher it is, the less water has time to warm up and can turn out to be barely warm instead of hot.

The use of a boiler for heating water today can already be called the antiquated method. Water is heated for a long time. For example, using a nuclear boiler, it takes at least an hour to heat a standard bath. But the process can be accelerated if several devices are used.

Otherwise, it threatens with a small explosion if the boiler connected to the outlet is not immersed in water. Using hot water from a washing machine for bathing is a non-standard solution. However, it is comfortable to use this method only if the washing machine is located directly next to the bath.

What do we do:

We find the connection point of the drain hose of the washing machine to the sewer system. And turn it off (pull it out of the connector).

Two in one: swimming pools, gyms, fitness centers

There are showers in any decent sports club so that visitors can put themselves in order after exhausting workouts. There are always showers in sports clubs with a pool - this is the standard norm: you need to wash in them before visiting, so as not to pollute the water inside the hydraulic structure. After swimming, it is not necessary to wash, but it is desirable - the water in the pools comes with the addition of bleach, and it is not worth leaving traces on the skin. If you have been planning to go in for sports for a long time, but it didn’t work out, acquiring a subscription will be the best solution: you can wash yourself, pump up your muscles, and strengthen your health.

But there are disadvantages:

Showers and locker rooms in sports clubs, as a rule, meet all the canons of collegiality. You will not find any individual cabins. At best, small partitions separating shower heads without a hint of doors. But even they may not be. You will have to pull off your clothes and wash yourself for all to see.

If you know in advance about the time of the upcoming shutdown of water, then you can combine this period with your next vacation at work and go to hot countries to the oceans.
