Saving water: caring for the environment and family budget

It's no secret that water is the source of life on Earth. Scientists claim that due to the rapid population growth of our planet, climate change and a decrease in water resources, in just a few years, about 3 billion people will live in conditions of shortage of drinking water. Therefore, the issue of preserving this natural resource is especially acute today.

Each of us can make a feasible contribution to saving the planet thanks to the simple saving of water in everyday life. We will share with you simple ways through which you can achieve significant results and at the same time save your family budget.

  • To effectively save water, first of all, install water meters if you do not already have them at home. So you can easily find out how many liters of water your family spends each month.
  • Troubleshoot: fix it or replace leaking taps and flushing the toilet. Unfortunately, through worn-out gaskets, thousands of cubic meters of pure water are simply sent down the drain every day.
  • Use a shower instead of a bath to save water. A quick shower requires much less water than a full bath.
  • If you temporarily turn off the water while soaping in the shower, brushing your teeth or shaving, you can save up to 4 liters of water per day.
  • Water can also be used sparingly during cooking. For example, water left over from washing vegetables and fruits can be watered home plants.
  • You can wash the dishes not under a continuous stream of water, but in the sink by plugging the drain hole. After that, just rinse the dishes with clean water. Saving water will also help purchase a dishwasher. Use special dishwashing detergentsso that it works longer and can wash, wash the dishes in a mode that saves water.
  • The washing machine should be turned on only when fully loaded.
  • If possible, install a flush tank with two flush buttons in the bathroom. This will also reduce water consumption.

Even such small changes in your habits will help solve a global problem. The main thing is to take action!

Save water, protect and protect our planet!
