How to connect and configure

Basic conditions for the installation of heating gas equipment from the manufacturer "Proterm":

  • installation of the boiler and the necessary auxiliary equipment is carried out in accordance with the design documentation, taking into account the requirements of SNiP and manufacturer's recommendations;
  • installation of equipment is carried out in a room specially designed for these purposes, and with a special modification of the unit - exclusively in well-ventilated outbuildings;
  • the installation and commissioning process is carried out by specialists who have completed a training course in the installation and maintenance of gas equipment;
  • elimination of any boiler malfunctions is carried out by a service organization authorized by the manufacturer of heating and water-heating equipment;
  • independent installation work entails depriving the consumer of a guarantee for the unit and its repair;
  • when unpacking heating equipment, the completeness of the supplied boiler and the suitability of the type of fuel used must be checked.

Before proceeding with installation, you must carefully read the attached to the gas boiler instructions, and during installation, all the recommendations given in the accompanying documents must be followed. The marking on the equipment must not be damaged or removed.

Standard technology for connecting and tuning a gas boiler:

  • fixing the unit to the wall by means of screws with appropriate gaskets;
  • connection pipes must not be loaded with a pipe heating system, hot water system or gas supply elements;
  • the installation size of the pipe connection, including their height and the required distance from the inlet to the outlet, must be strictly observed;
  • the hydraulic group is located on the lower part of the gas equipment, and the system is necessarily equipped with a filling valve and safety and relief valves;
  • if the maximum pressure inside the system is exceeded, steam or water is discharged from the safety and relief valves;
  • connecting the unit to the heating system suggests that it is possible to carry out the full scope of preventive and repair work;
  • water is delivered to the heating system via a filling tap, and a drain device is used to lower the pressure or partially drain the heat carrier;
  • special outlets installed on selected sections of the heating system have full drain and bulk functions;
  • the pressure of the hot water supply to the equipment must exceed similar indicators in the heating system;
  • in the position of the “Filling” valve (hydraulic group), the operation of the system is necessarily controlled by means of a boiler pressure gauge;
  • the reinforcement is opened counterclockwise, and the closure is strictly clockwise.

Warranty items for boiler equipment do not include activities represented by dehumidification and adjustment of the expansion tank.

Brief Operating Instructions

Proper adjustment of gas boilers Protherm provides optimal temperature conditions in different premises and areas. Among other things, regulation of the automation of such equipment helps to increase the efficiency of the unit, and also makes its operation reliable and safe. Modern automation solves the problems:

  • opening and closing valves in the gas supply system;
  • the process of starting the unit in automatic mode;
  • installed or emergency shutdown of boiler equipment;
  • adjusting the flame level in the burner by means of a temperature sensor;
  • display on the screen indicators of air temperature, heating medium level and other parameters.

Instructions for setting up a gas boiler:

  • connecting the thermostat to a temperature sensor fixed in the room, and setting the necessary values ​​allow you to get a comfortable temperature mode of heating;
  • the installation of a thermostatic valve on the supply pipes in front of the heating radiators helps to change the cross-sectional area of ​​the pipe and it is easy to carry out the process of regulating the temperature of the heat carrier;
  • the first start-up of the system at the maximum temperature allows the used coolant to freely enter the tank, which contributes to its maximum filling;
  • Improving efficiency contributes to the timely removal of scale and soot, as well as monitoring the lack of air in the system and installing a traction limiter;
  • regulation of pressure indicators is carried out using special valve regulators, and in order to increase the pressure, a circulation pump is installed;
  • The boiler burner power is reduced automatically through the service menu, and the increase in power is controlled by installing additional radiators or replacing existing ones with the most powerful models;
  • many units are characterized by full-fledged performance at a pressure of 1.5 atm., and normally this value is 0.3 atm. lower than indicators in the heating system;
  • a slight decrease in the pressure level in the unit is restored during the standard restart;
  • automatic selection of the functioning mode of the gas boiler helps to maintain the desired temperature level even with prolonged absence of consumers in the room.

The process of first turning on the boiler is accompanied by its short and vigorous work after the unit is fully connected to the heating system, which makes it easy to verify the correct installation of boiler equipment and the full functioning of the heating.

Common errors and malfunctions

Some of the most common malfunctions of gas boilers of the Proterm company can be completely eliminated on their own, but the correction of the most complex errors must be entrusted to the professionals of the service center.
