  • laundry soap;
  • soda;
  • baby soap;
  • window cleaner.

How to apply

Toothpaste

Will be required in this case:

  • any toothpaste (whitening is better);
  • a hard toothbrush (well cleans hard-to-reach places) or a sponge with a rough surface;
  • clean dry cloth.

The step-by-step procedure is as follows:

  1. Squeeze a little toothpaste from the tube into the contaminated area of ​​the mixer.
  2. Rub it thoroughly over the surface to be cleaned with a damp sponge (toothbrush) and leave it in this form for 30 or 60 minutes (with severe dirt).
  3. Then thoroughly wipe away any particularly contaminated areas with a sponge or toothbrush.
  4. Wash the toothpaste from the mixer with cold water.
  5. Dry with a cloth a washed structure.

If you can’t get rid of plaque the first time, repeat the procedure. This method is also used in case of contamination of the mixer, and with the aim of prevention about 2 times a month.

Laundry soap

Effectively clean the plaque on the mixer can be done in different ways using ordinary laundry soap.

1 way

To work, you will need:

  • bar of laundry soap 72%;
  • old toothbrush;
  • dry cloth.

It is necessary to soap the toothbrush or wet a bar of soap and treat this item with a dirty tap. After 15–20 minutes, rinse the surface of the mixer with water and wipe it dry.

2 way

First you need to prepare a working solution:

  1. Grate 1/3 of a piece of laundry soap on a coarse grater 72%.
  2. Dilute the resulting soap chips with hot water to a creamy state.

To enhance the cleaning effect, 1 or 2 tablespoons are added to the mixture. l soda ash or baking soda.

Processing is carried out as follows:

  1. On the surface of the contaminated mixer, the resulting mass is applied in a continuous layer with a sponge.
  2. Leave it for an hour or longer (depending on the degree of contamination) to soften the lime deposits.
  3. Again wipe the area to be cleaned with a sponge.
  4. All residues of dirt and soap are washed off the mixer with a sponge (rag) and running water.
  5. Wipe the faucet with a dry cloth.

Laundry soap

Such a liquid product (Cinderella, Agafia Laundry Soap) perfectly cleans plumbing:

  1. Use a toothbrush or sponge to apply a little liquid soap to the contaminated surface of the mixer.
  2. Wait half an hour.
  3. Wash everything off with warm water and wipe the tap dry.

Soda

To clean the plumbing use a soda solution. Dry soda powder is not used in this case. After it, scratches remain on the surface to be cleaned, which spoils the appearance of the crane.

To prepare the solution, you must take:

  • water - 1 l;
  • soda ash - 300 g.

With stirring, soda is dissolved in water until a thick mass is obtained. With the mixture obtained, the mixer is rubbed with a sponge and then all residues are washed off with it.

Baby soap

It is diluted in warm water in a ratio of 1: 1. The solution is mixed well. Wet the cloth in it and wipe the mixer with it. After that, it is again wiped with a rag soaked in plain water.

Window Cleaner

Such a preparation is also effective in cleaning the mixer, especially if it contains ammonia. You need to put a little money on the sponge, wipe the faucet with it first, and then with a dry cloth.
